Physis: Parodos

Physis: Parodos

Physis (φύσις): the natural order; the inherent nature of things; the immutable forces that govern the world and universe. In contrast to Nomos (νόμος): laws, rules, and social order established by humans. It represents the organized and structured.

Parodos (πάροδος): a ceremonial entrance song performed by the chorus at the inception of ancient Greek theatre. This ritualistic chorus, embodying both voice and movement, traverses the stage, ushering in the thematic essence that will guide the unfolding tragedy.
